Right now oldschool runescape is releasing so much new content that omicron is almost always going to be backed up on content. Not saying that hes not doing his best, just with 1 or 2 devs it's just going to be that way.

After dt2 bosses release please work on releasing a leagues game mode to give us something to do while we wait for new content. Everyones been waiting for another one and using it for filler content is the best possible way to do it imo.

100% another addition of league should occur after DT2.

This content will definitely bring some old players back as it’s a new mix into the current environment.

It is unfortunate the minimal Dev team size and timely additions of new content, but it’s understandable with the scale and quality of updates that is brought in.

Since theres downtime with new content release on OSRS, I personally would prefer to get more QoL updates and bugfixes.

If there was to come a new league, then I would hope its not Twisted League again, but considering each league has their unique mechanics, it would take a lot of time to work out for the players, and by that time there may be new content released in the main game, which would be delayed here again.

So, lowkey no support but I wouldn't mind if there is a perfect balance between updates for main game and Leagues.

Tauri makes a good point. Unless the server gets another developer, I can see this taking a huge amount of dev time from Omi.

I'm someone whose also more in favor of receiving QoL updates and bug fixes before we get more leagues.

That said, I don't want MM2 bosses to be the main streamlined piece of content this year. We're already almost 2 months into the year without a single update yet. No bug fixes, no QoL, nothing.

I honestly agree with Tauri, those were my initial thoughts. Unless they take the prior leagues and maybe make a few alterations to it, it seems like it would take up too much dev time. Though I'd really love to see it if that wasn't the case.

That would take a lot of time to create while catching up with recent OSRS updates, however I would support the idea to participate in Alora Leagues.

I’m fairly neutral on this. Neither dis agree or agree. The recent updates to OSRS (DT2 bosses) are large projects that, I’m assuming, require lots of time and polishing before being pushed out to us players here on alora. With that said I’m fine with waiting on updates that are polished and not broken on release. I’ve always been quality over quantity. Like others have said the dev team is small and I’d rather them focus on main game updates being rolled out correctly instead of just pouring time into game modes that aren’t permanent. As for the downtime in between updates I do feel like the weekly events hosted fill a small gap in the void of soonTM, but also highly repetitive for the players who’ve been around a long time. Maybe some fresh new weekly events could help fill in the gaps while waiting for large updates?

Pretty new to the politics of the server, but is there any means by which the dev team can be expanded? Often times smaller QoL changes and bug fixes are an easy way to introduce a new developer to a tech stack, so they could help improve things for the players while Omi et al. focus on more complex content

I miss leagues. This would be fun but this is also something that would require some dev work as well no?
