Toggleable combat-type hitsplats

How would this benefit Alora?:

with the recent addition of 2010 style models, maps, interfaces and graphics i think this would be a welcome addition to alora. Not all players are extremely experienced with RS it would be helpful to newer and players that are not as experienced as some of the veteran players, i think this would a very nice QOL feature as it has no effect on the actual content nor alter any of the games mechanics, and of course it would be toggleble for the players that would like to not use it.

 

TLDR:

Im tired of wiki'ing monsters because my dumb ass dont know what combat styles monsters use.

I do remember we already having some feature to enable new hitsplats, but not sure if it's these. 

If it's not the one from 2010... I support this for the nostalgia of the 2010 brothers.

This would help alot of people in different situations so therefor I SUPPORT as long as it's toogeable.

Would help new players a lot. I’ve seen quite a few people with almost no experience in RuneScape as we all know it whatsoever. Support from me! As long as it’s a toggleable feature ofcourse.

could be good for new players, it has to be toggleable thou. will i use it? probably not. but i dont mind it! i will still support the suggestion because of the new players

Completely fair, although if you want to go down that route most of the RuneLite features are for QOL as well and aren't needed, QOL features arent exactly core to the gameplay but they do enhance the gameplay at least imo :)

Maybe I've misunderstood this suggestion, but there's already a toggle for 2010 hitmarkers that we've added in the Interface styles plugin.

Did you add this while i wasnt looking, i ran through all the interface options earlier this week and although the new style was there the actual hit types werent. Either way im happy, this whole post can be dismissed now :)
