Would be nice if the game generated average prices based on the selling and buying via the trading post. 

I.E. the trading post would become it's own price guide.

Its a good idea, but I'm not sure if it would be possible to code in. It's not too hard to get an idea for prices with how things are currently. High end items you can just ask in yell for a market price

sounds good but then this could easily be manipulated into someones favour increasing their chances of their actions to succeed.

the trading post will even items out soon once its implemented.

ive been meaning since ive been merchanting almost 12-15hrs a day to create my own price guide that i can update every 1hr or so

I thought you meant something else like, only sell items on average price, if there would be a price guide linked with the tp on forums, would be a nice feature.

They could make it take all the current stock of 1 item in trading posts prices add them together and divide by the amount..

True, still it can be difficult to implement this, I'm still a bit neutral on this suggestion honestly, there's also a price guide on forums, updated every 4-7 days, sometimes a price can get changed fast but when it's a huge change I can just edit it real quick.

I do support this when you mean the trading post has a 'average price' when you search for an item or about to buy an item.
